there are few people in this world that just get it. get life, get me, get it together. i am so lucky to have these two chicks.. ahem.. ladies in my life. we can go months without seeing eachother but always pick up right where we left off. i am where i am now with the help of tam there on the left, and i have her to also thank for my mate on the right. two absolute gems i have here.
thank you to them for being our models and subjects for an all too aggressive photoshoot. and thank you to bunker for taking some extra time to snap a few of the three of us. i actually took a minute to step in front of the camera.. daring i know right? they were obviously prepared.. i however was not!

that on this day, one day before his 8th month birthday... he cut his first tooth. for posterity reasons i felt compelled to document it. since neither of my poor kids have had records kept. worst mother ever.

i'm a mother. and my biggest fear is losing a child or my husband. biggest. so i was mortified when i heard the news about emily jones losing her husband after a climbing trip with his family over thankgiving weekend at the nutty putty caves in utah. you can read about the whole store here.
emily and john had a 2yr old, and were expecting another baby in june. how do you even? my heart really hurts for her, for him, for the kids, the family, for everyone.
not too long ago my friends sister lost her daughter to a drowning accident. she was the same age as my little emmy. my heart hurt for her, especially as i read her blog and rode that journey with her. i have seen so much strength and courage from a woman who went through my worst nightmare.. something i don't know that i could ever recover from. stephanie from a daily scoop is a strong strong women that i aspire to be. truely.
how do the two of these people fuse together? two strangers, suffering different loses? well stephanie has decided to pay it forward for all the love and kindness that had been shown to her while she was going through her own tragedy.
stephanie is hosting a memorial auction on her blog where 100% of the proceeds will go to the emily jones and the family.
and i donated a photo session.
you can go to her website to bid on over a hundred different goods and services to contribute to the memorial. go take a look, make a bid, and help a family out. it's christmas for goodness sakes.
my session auction is here.
the rest of the auctions are here.
or you can donate directly here.
