my 3 year old

yes i know it's august. yes i know she turned 3 in june. yes i know i am very VERY behind.

there isn't anything much harder then trying to get your beautiful, smart, naughty little three year old to look normal in a picture. these were the best i could get. can you even believe that? i feel like she was cursed with the non photogenic genes i carry. poor girl. but at the same time, these capture exactly who she is right now.

silly, stubborn, shy, loving, our little limit pusher, beautiful, kind, peace keeping, crazy, funny, happy little emerson. i am absolutely the luckiest mother on the planet to have her. she constantly keeps me on my toes. amazes me with all she is learning and becoming. she continually has me on my knees thanking my heavenly father for such a sweet girl. if i had to sum up my life in a word since she came to me, lucky.

i am truly lucky to have her.

on her third birthday i gave her a little interview and thought you all might like to hear it, i love some of the things she comes up with.
