irvine park
we decided to branch out and take a field trip to irvine park. it was so much fun. they have this huge pumpkin patch with a maze, a mini haunted house, and things to do like a train ride, horse riding, and a hay ride. the kids were in heaven. it was nearly 100 degrees (not kidding, in the 90's) so i wasn't quite sure i felt we were in the same place.
this is em with charlie, luke and delany. we were very surprised to find them all being able to stand together to snap a picture. and we realized that they had all hit two and a half feet. they are getting so big.
charlie wasn't really into being the cat, and em could really care less about what she was..
when we first got there, emmy was so drawn to this tractor. i had to split up a couple fights over it. she is just too much right now it is hilarious.
she loved the train ride. so did i. we were in the shade, she was sitting still, and we got to see all her favorite animals. the ducks, a dog, some horsies. she loved it.
she loved it so much, she wouldn't look at me once. she was so into what was going on outside the train. she is so curious at this stage in her life. i love to see her taking it all in and learning so many new things. its absolutely amazing.
as you can see below, she was very eager to share her snacks with her friends... as long as she was allowed to feed them.

Jenn, I'm teary eyed because I don't know if you know how much we love our sweet Emmers and appreciate these pics. She is seriously the cuttest thang! We miss you guys. When do the girls get to see eachother again?
This looked like such a fun trip to the pumpkin patch. I love that she totally shares her snacks, but has to be the one putting them into their mouths. Miss independent!

I am glad I am not the only one experiencing a sudden heat wave! i thought fall was here bc it was all cool and pretty and then this past week was hot again! ugh, I am moving to utah!
and az does have pumpkin patches too, its just the GWC one we seem to always be hitting up!

Fun! We went to the pumpkin patch on GW the other day and Meredith was in heaven, too! Cute pics...LOVE the one on the tractor especially!
