my brother and sister in law had their first baby yesterday. i am thoroughly in love. i think emmy was too.
she was having more fun playing with everything she could get her hands on at the hospital, and eating my brothers "celebration" dinner though. which is sad. it was refreshing however, to see her react to something so small and new. gives me hope that this new little guy that is going to join our family wont phase her in a bad way.
she especially loved player with her new cousins ballons. she had some crazy hair after that.
i know i have said this before, but i have had a hard time transitioning from girl mode to boy mode. i just don't speak boy. my house is filled with pink tights, girly toys, and bows. i have only had nieces up until yesterday, and let me tell you, my new nephew is just what i needed. the slump i was in yesterday is over, and i am ready to get started on this. it also helped seeing baker with a little boy. i think they are going to be best buds.
so one down, and two to go. my sister should be having her little girl any day now, and we are just around the corner as well. baby fest 09 for the box family!

awe! congrats! he's adorable. boy looks great on you and it will be fun learning what being a mom to a boy means for you.
I promise, you'll LOVE having a boy. I was terrified before Layne arrived (having two girls already), but he totally balances our family out. And he's the best little buddy a mamma could have! Hang in there!

Jenny, you will be the best mom of a little boy! He will melt your heart....and then your heart keeps getting bigger and bigger! It's one of the miracles of children!

I can't believe Jason's wife had a baby too. What lucky cousins! It's been awhile since I've seen Jason, but looking at the pictures, his boy looks exactly like him. You're next, can't wait for you to have your little boy! You'll love him more than you thought possible!

Well congrats Auntie :) He is adorable. That hospital looks familiar ;) I feel as if it were yesterday I was there with Sophia :) Actually it was 11 days ago ;)
